Job summary

Goodwood Park Hotel Private Limited is seeking a Senior F&B Manager to lead the restaurant operations and drive sales, profitability and dining experience. You will oversee menu planning, beverage programs, budgeting and staff leadership to ensure exceptional guest service.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of cost control and inventory management, and the ability to coordinate marketing activities, reports and compliance with safety standards in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior F&B Manager or in a similar leadership role within hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage management including cost control and inventory management.
• Knowledge of wine and beverage pairings; experience in menu engineering is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales strategies to meet restaurant business objectives.
• Responsible for restaurants’ sales and profitability.
• Involved in marketing activities such as promotions and discount schemes.
• Prepare shift revenue reports, materials control requisitions and daily performance updates.
• Prepare yearly budgets including Capex proposals.
• Plan staff schedules, restaurant menus and beverage lists.
• Build rapport with patrons, update databases and handle guest feedback/complaints.
• Ensure grooming standards, conduct staff briefing and counseling as needed.
• Handle reservations and special guest requests.
• Oversee administrative tasks including requisitions, equipment control, inventory and related duties.
• Conduct site inspections for restaurants and function rooms to meet guest requirements.
• Recruit suitable staff to operate the restaurant; ensure high food quality and safety standards.
• Train and mentor junior staff; perform any other duties as assigned.
