Job summary

Nanyang Technological University Singapore (NTU) is seeking a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager to join the School of Art, Design and Media (ADM). The role focuses on admissions, student candidature support, exams coordination and scholarship administration, with a strong emphasis on data-driven process improvements.

The successful candidate will manage overlapping deadlines, work closely with students, faculty, senior leaders and international partners, and contribute to a vibrant campus

Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years progressive administrative experience in higher education
• Strong in Excel and data analysis
• Ability to manage overlapping deadlines and still get the details right
• Sound judgement when a case doesn't fit policy

Responsibilities

• Run admissions, from application evaluation and faculty matching to scholarship interviews and appeals
• Guide students through their candidature, resolving extensions, supervision issues and policy exceptions
• Coordinate qualifying exams and thesis orals, including examiner appointments and Board of Examiners processes
• Administer scholarships, stipends and funding matters
• Build community through orientations, career workshops, networking sessions and research symposia
• Use data and process improvement to make our service better, and contribute to how we plan ahead
