Job summary

Nanyang Technological University Singapore’s School of Art, Design and Media seeks a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager to lead administrative operations for its postgraduate research programs. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4–5 years of progressive administrative experience in higher education or postgraduate programs.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent organisational, project management and multi‑priority handling skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication for interactions with students, faculty, leadership and external partners.
• Ability to navigate diverse stakeholders, maintain confidentiality and handle policy‑driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee admissions processes including evaluation, matching, scholarship interviews, appeals and policy exceptions.
• Manage candidature lifecycle for PhD and Master’s students, monitor milestones and address extensions or disputes.
• Coordinate examinations, nominations, international logistics, and Board of Examiners processes with academic integrity.
• Administer scholarships and financial matters including stipends, renewals, and donor compliance.
• Plan student engagement events, networking sessions and research symposia to build a vibrant postgraduate community.
• Drive process improvements, data analytics and documentation to inform leadership decisions.
