Job summary

Ministry of Defence of Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to lead a team responsible for managing and enhancing support systems for National Service administration. You will ensure policy alignment, service needs and operational demands, with emphasis on system development, implementation and continuous improvement to maintain reliable operations.

You will coordinate with SAF stakeholders and vendors, plan and execute National Servicemen administration and events, and ensure system

Qualifications

• Education in HR, CS, PM or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in HR/IT/operational support roles with risk management experience preferred.
• PM and BPM skills are desirable.
• Data analytics skills will be an advantage.
• Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage system requests, ensuring completeness, compliance and proper documentation.
• Facilitate issue resolution between SAF stakeholders and vendors, triaging reports and proposing solutions.
• Plan and coordinate National Servicemen administration and events.
• Ensure system and equipment readiness through monthly checks, stocktakes and accurate tracking with audit-ready records.

What You Will Be Working On

• Manage system requests, ensuring completeness, compliance and proper documentation

• Balancing operational demands with limited resources, including manpower, time and system constraints, while maintaining service standards
• Coordinating across multiple stakeholders, including users, helpdesks, IT teams and vendors, to resolve issues efficiently, especially when dependencies extend beyond direct control
• Ensuring system reliability and data accuracy amid frequent changes and ad-hoc demands, requiring consistent verification and timely follow-up

What We Are Looking For

• Education in Human Resource, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field is preferred
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in HR, IT or operational support roles, with experience in risk management is preferred
• Project management and business process management skills
• Possession of data analytics skills will be an advantage
• Strong organisational and communication skills
