Job summary

Future Electronics in Singapore is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to provide strategic and operational HR support across multiple regional markets. You will partner with business leaders to drive talent management, performance processes, employee relations, and policy compliance, while balancing day-to-day HR operations with regional initiatives.

This role requires adaptability and collaboration across Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and India, and a strong emphasis on data-driven HR

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business admin or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR Business Partner experience.
  • Experience supporting multiple countries or regional stakeholders is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles and employment law.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-driven, adaptable with learning agility.

Job description

The HRBP is responsible for handling day-to-day HR operations, providing strategic and operational HR support to employees and managers, and contributing to the overall success of the HR function. This role partners closely with business leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives, drive talent and performance management initiatives, manage employee relations matters, and ensure HR policies and practices comply with company guidelines and employment regulations.

The successful candidate will be a self-driven HR professional with strong learning agility, a positive attitude, and an aspiration to broaden their exposure across regional markets. The role covers HRBP support across Thailand, Vietnam (in partnership with a local HR representative), Indonesia, and India.

Business Partnership
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business units and departments supported and their strategic objectives.
  • Consult and collaborate with business leaders to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Provide guidance and support in workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, and change management initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organization and act as a trusted advisor to business leaders.
Regional HR Support
  • Partner business leaders across Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and India on people-related matters.
  • Collaborate with local HR partners where applicable to ensure consistent HR practices and compliance with local employment regulations.
  • Support regional HR initiatives, employee engagement programmes, and organizational development activities.
  • Regional HRBP experience is advantageous but not mandatory; candidates should demonstrate the willingness and capability to develop into a broader regional HRBP role.
Employee Relations
  • Provide guidance and support on performance management, disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Foster positive employee relations and contribute to a healthy workplace culture.
Performance Management
  • Support performance management processes, including KPI setting, performance reviews, and feedback discussions.
  • Coach and advise managers on performance-related matters.
  • Analyze performance trends and develop strategies to address performance gaps.
HR Policy & Compliance
  • Ensure HR policies, practices, and procedures comply with company guidelines and local employment laws.
  • Review and update HR policies in response to legislative and business changes.
  • Provide advice to managers on HR compliance matters and policy implementation.
Employee Engagement & Communication
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and activities that support employee wellbeing and a positive work environment.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to foster transparency and alignment.
  • Support employee recognition and retention initiatives.
HR Operations & Administration
  • Support onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, employee documentation, and contract administration.
  • Ensure timely HRIS updates, reporting, and employee data management.
  • Adopt a hands-on approach to HR operations while balancing strategic HRBP responsibilities.
HR Analytics & Reporting
  • Analyze HR metrics related to turnover, retention, engagement, and workforce demographics.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve HR effectiveness and support business objectives.
Requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of HR Business Partner experience gained in a local company or multinational corporation environment.
  • Proven experience in HRBP, employee relations, performance management, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience supporting multiple countries or regional stakeholders is advantageous but not essential.
  • Comfortable managing both strategic HR initiatives and operational HR activities, including employee documentation and contract administration.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment legislation.
  • Self-driven, positive, and adaptable individual with strong learning agility.
  • Strong aspiration to develop regional and overseas HRBP exposure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong consulting, influencing, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and provide actionable recommendations.
