JAC Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to advise business leaders across APAC and execute people strategies that drive growth and effectiveness.

You will partner with COEs to support the full lifecycle, lead organizational change, and influence leaders across cultures in a complex multinational setup.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 8–15 years of progressive HR experience, including HRBP work in a multinational.
  • Japanese language ability is an advantage.
  • Strong employee relations expertise including investigations, change, restructures, and complex matters.
  • Strong business acumen aligning HR strategies with organizational goals.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills with matrixed environments.
  • Experience leveraging HR data and HRIS (Workday) for decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and execute people strategies aligned to objectives and growth.
  • Provide strategic HR guidance and coaching on talent, engagement, performance, and workforce planning.
  • Lead organizational design, change management, and business transformations.
  • Manage complex employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary matters in line with local laws.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, L&D, and HR Operations to deliver integrated HR solutions.
  • Drive talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, and retention initiatives.
  • Utilize HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends and inform decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations across multiple APAC markets.
  • Organize and run employee engagement and CSR activities.
  • Support end-to-end lifecycle activities from onboarding to offboarding.

About this role

The client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders across the APAC region, partnering closely with management to develop and execute people strategies that drive business growth, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent development, and employee engagement. This role provides both strategic and operational HR support across multiple markets and cultures, ensuring alignment between business objectives, local employment legislation, compliance requirements, and HR best practices. Working closely with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), the successful candidate will support the full employee lifecycle, lead organizational change and employee relations initiatives, and influence leaders across different levels and geographies within a complex multinational environment. Experience supporting China, Japan, the Philippines, and Thailand will be highly advantageous.

Job Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and execute people strategies that support business objectives, growth plans, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide strategic HR guidance and coaching to managers on talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Lead and support organizational design, restructuring, change management, and business transformation initiatives.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters, workplace investigations, disciplinary cases, and conflict resolution while ensuring compliance with local employment laws.
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence, including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and HR Operations, to deliver integrated HR solutions.
  • Drive talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, and retention strategies to build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Utilize HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends, provide insights, and support informed business decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor regulations, company policies, and governance requirements across multiple countries within the region.
  • Organize and run employee engagement and CSR activities.
  • Support the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee development, engagement, performance management, organizational changes, and offboarding activities.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 8-15 years of progressive HR experience, including significant Human Resources Business Partnering experience within a multinational organization.
  • Japanese language proficiency will be an advantage.
  • Strong employee relations expertise, including experience managing investigations, organizational change, restructures, and complex workplace matters.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies, talent initiatives, and workforce plans to organizational goals.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including experience leveraging HR data, insights, and HRIS platforms such as Workday to support decision-making.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution while working across multiple cultures, time zones, and geographies.
