Job summary

A leading resort company in Singapore is seeking a motivated Sourcing Buyer. This role involves managing procurement activities and sourcing F&B supplies to support business operations. The ideal candidate should have a degree or diploma in Supply Chain or Business Management and 1-4 years of relevant experience. Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Word and Excel, are essential. Familiarity with Ariba is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-4 years of work experience in Hospitality, F&B, Procurement, or similar role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement activities for supplies and services related to the commodity.
  • Conduct competitive sourcing process, negotiate commercial terms, and prepare recommendations.
  • Negotiate with vendors for transparency and best value.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand needs.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies.
  • Achieve KPIs at Company/team level.

Overview

We are seeking a resourceful and motivated Sourcing Buyer to join our team. This role is responsible for managing procurement activities related to assigned commodities. You’ll play a key role in sourcing F&B supplies to support resort wide business activities.

Responsibilities
  • Manage procurement activities for supplies and services related to the commodity
  • Conduct competitive sourcing process, initiation of request, negotiation of commercial terms, preparation of analysis and recommendation of award
  • Negotiate with vendors to ensure best value buys and transparent purchasing process are executed
  • Manage, engage closely with both internal and external stakeholders of their various needs and requirements
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and internal guidelines
  • Achieve KPI at Company/team level
  • Any other duties or tasks assigned
Qualifications
  • Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Management or equivalent discipline
  • Minimum 1-4 years of work experience in Hospitality, F&B, Procurement, or similar role
Skills
  • Strong proficiency in standard office applications, particularly MS Word & MS Excel
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with Ariba is an added advantage
