Job summary

WTW is seeking a client-facing broker in the Energy and Mining team based in Singapore. You will support regional Asian offices, set client strategy and deliver optimal outcomes on insurance and reinsurance placements.

Responsibilities include negotiating with market leaders, structuring programmes, and coordinating with engineering, risk, analytics and claims specialists to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years relevant experience and qualifications.
• Strong execution ability and time sensitive issue management.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Highly motivated with good interpersonal skills.
• Independent and self-motivated team player delivering client value.

Responsibilities

• Client facing and market broker in the Energy and Mining team.
• Sitting in the regional team in Singapore, supporting Asian offices.
• Set client strategy and deliver optimal outcomes.
• Broking into Asian insurance and reinsurance markets with global teams.
• Negotiate terms with market leaders and complete full placements.
• Negotiate wordings, clauses and technical coverage issues; explain to clients.
• Structure insurance/reinsurance placement programmes.
• Develop broking strategies around client requirements.
• Work with engineering, risk, analytics and claims specialists in Asia.
