Qualifications

• Preferably degree-qualified in any discipline.
• ACII or similar professional qualification preferred.
• Ability to work as a team player in a dynamic broking environment.

• Strong business and financial acumen aligned with company strategy.
• Strong group presentation skills and ability to engage at an executive level.
• Relationship management and customer focus; leverage internal/external relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the broking strategy and placement of individual accounts including new business and renewals.
• Support new business RFPs with market knowledge, pricing, and placement structures.
• Work with client relationship directors and industry leaders across Asia.
• Provide knowledge, leadership, insight, and direction for broking activities.
• Orchestrate new business placement, renewals, and alterations of existing coverage.
• Develop and deliver presentations to secure new relationships.
• Review information to assess client risks and support market placement.
• Research and evaluate solutions to identify optimum risk solutions for clients.
• Provide coverage and program design advice; perform needs analyses.
• Build partnerships to secure optimum terms and conditions for clients.
• Set priorities for the broking function and review performance.
• Oversee design and preparation of draft proposals; negotiate quotes and terms.
• Bind carrier quotes and review binders and confirmations.
• Attend client and underwriter meetings and conduct peer reviews.
• Provide coaching to brokers in training.
