Job summary

A leading shipbuilding firm in Singapore is seeking an Electrical Engineer to supervise maintenance of power systems on-board vessels. The successful candidate will lead a team of electricians, ensuring safety and timely completion of tasks. A diploma or degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering is required, along with experience in electrical maintenance. The position is based in the Changi area and offers transport from various MRT stations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Experience in power engineering and maintenance.
• Able to lead and motivate a small team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform fault diagnosis and maintenance of power systems.
• Lead a team of electricians for CM and PM tasks.
• Ensure the safety of team members during tasks.
• Liaise with clients and subcontractors for maintenance programs.

Skills

Experience in power engineering and maintenance of electrical components

Knowledge in reading electrical circuit diagram

Experience in testing/calibration of high/low voltage equipment

Able to lead and manage a small team

Knowledge in both electrical/electronic systems

Experience in DC system

Education

Diploma or Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
