Job Summary
Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, compliant, and environmentally sustainable workplace. Supports continuous improvement through monitoring, audits, and cross‑functional collaboration. Scope also includes pest control, EHS‑related procurement, security coordination, waste management, equipment measurement programs, and conformance with relevant EHS management systems (e.g. SS 651). This role will be reporting to the Associate EHS Director.
Pest Control Management
- Develop and implement site pest control programs to ensure a hygienic and compliant work environment.
- Coordinate with external vendors, monitor service performance, and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintain pest‑related documentation for regulatory or audit purposes.
Procurement (EHS‑Related)
- Manage procurement of EHS‑related supplies, PPE, equipment, and services.
- Evaluate vendors for compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Maintain inventory and ensure the timely availability of critical EHS materials.
Security Coordination
- Liaise with internal security teams and external providers to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
- Support implementation of security procedures, access control, visitor management, and emergency response protocols.
- Investigate security‑related incidents and recommend preventive measures.
Waste Management
- Oversee waste segregation, handling, storage, transportation, and disposal in compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
- Manage hazardous and non‑hazardous waste programs, including documentation, reporting, and vendor coordination.
- Promote waste‑reduction initiatives aligned with sustainability goals.
Equipment Measurement & Calibration
- Maintain the measurement program for EHS‑critical equipment (e.g., gas detectors, noise meters, environmental monitoring tools).
- Coordinate equipment calibration schedules and ensure accuracy and traceability of measurement records.
- Support implementation of preventive maintenance for EHS measurement devices.
EHS Management Systems Support
- Support implementation, maintenance, and audits of EHS management systems (e.g., SS 651).
- Prepare documentation, conduct internal audits, and assist in closure of audit findings.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to sustain ISO certification readiness.
Perform any other tasks assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or related fields. Preferably a trained entomologist.
- 2–5 years of experience in pest control for GMP operations.
- Knowledge of local EHS regulations and relevant ISO standards or equivalent.
- Strong coordination skills and experience working with external vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work in a fast‑paced environment.
