Job description

This role supports the migration of an application from OpenShift to Alauda Container Platform, including Jenkins pipeline integration, technical documentation, automation testing, and application tech refresh as per the Bank’s updated requirements. Lead migration tasks, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and ensure quality through advanced testing and mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead migration of application components from OpenShift to Alauda Container Platform.
• Design and optimize the Jenkins delivery pipeline integrated with Alauda.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and user stories.
• Develop and review automation, load, and performance testing scripts.
• Execute production data migration to UAT with masking.
• Implement application tech refresh and oversee testing suite updates.
• Mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Advanced experience in container orchestration and platform migration.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and optimization (Jenkins).
• Proficiency in performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and scripting (Python, Shell).
• Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor team members.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in migration projects or time-based service engagements.
• Knowledge of Banks technical environment and compliance standards.
• 3-7 years of relevant experience in IT support.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Organized with a strong focus on following prescribed processes and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in financial services or blockchain applications preferred.
• Knowledge of Alauda Container Platform is highly desirable.
• Lead to have experience in leading a team of at least 6 members.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across teams.

Shift Work Details

• 8 hour shift will be subject to change to 12 hours shift (eg, work 3 days and rest 4 days, and vice versa)
• Need to support releases including nights during weekends and public holidays
