Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Defence Studies or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years' experience in military system related field.
• Hands-on Military or Defence System knowledge will be an advantage.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Defence Industry will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively under tight timelines and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain strategic relationships with key Defence customers, both locally and internationally, to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate cross-functional bid teams in the preparation, development, and submission of competitive tender proposals in accordance with company objectives and requirements.
• Develop customer engagement plans and effective bid-winning strategies to maximize business opportunities and contract success rates
• Conduct tender assessments and evaluations, ensuring full compliance with customer requirements and organizational policies
• Manage the Business Development budget to support business goals and effective resource use
• Liaise closely with customers to understand and manage their operational, technical requirements and alignment of proposed solutions
• Represent the company in customer meetings, industry forums, exhibitions, and business development activities as required
• Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports and management presentation materials
• Willing to travel overseas as required to support customer engagement, business development activities, tender pursuits, and project execution
