Job summary

HL Bank Singapore is seeking an experienced leader to manage Credit Admin & Loan Operations. You will oversee the preparation of security documentation, ensure pre-disbursement conditions are met, and liaise with valuers, solicitors and insurers for complex collateral structures.

Responsibilities

• Review and craft Letters of Offer and security documentation per terms.
• Ensure pre-disbursement conditions are met before credit activation.
• Liaise with valuers, solicitors on valuation, perfection and registration of security.
• Coordinate with insurers on assignment of life/fire/credit insurance and release of assignment.
• Track ageing for return of facility and security documents.
• Ensure facility and supporting security documents are executed and pledged.
• Approve changes to credit facilities and collateral maintenance.
• Review monthly regulatory and head office reports; prepare pack and minutes for Credit Committee.
• Review collateral valuations for accuracy.
• Conduct annual documentation and risk reviews; audit support.
• Review collateral limits, margin calls, excess collateral shortfalls and related exceptions.
• Monitor outstanding documents, covenants and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain SOPs and risk controls; support internal/external audits.
• Assist inter-departmental projects (document library, new products, campaigns) and drive operational improvements.
• Lead department projects to improve efficiency and controls; perform UAT testing for banking system enhancements.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Credit Risk to resolve documentation discrepancies and provide advisory on structures.
• Manage ad-hoc duties, provide leave cover, and mentor junior staff.
