Job summary

Bank of Singapore is seeking a Risk Specialist, Credit Documentation, to prepare standard and bespoke facility, security and auxiliary documentation in line with credit approvals and internal policies. You will manage covenants, conditions precedents, and coordinate with internal legal, product, insurers, solicitors, and custodian teams.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, ability to prioritise, strong written and verbal communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of credit documentation experience.
• Experience in property and/or life insurance financing is a plus.
• Meticulous with strong attention to detail.
• Able to prioritise and work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare standard and bespoke facility, security and auxiliary documentation in accordance with credit approvals and internal policies.
• Ensure all relevant conditions and/or covenants and jurisdictional specific clauses are included in drafted documentation.
• Manage status overview for issued documentation and track their return.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate completion of mortgage documentation.
• Review and verify documentation for completeness, conditions precedent, and perfection of collateral.
• Review legal opinions for compliance with laws and regulations.
• Lodge completed documentation for safekeeping and track perfection, maintain credit files.
• Provide support for queries from Front Office and assist with projects/UAT.
