Job Description
  • Conduct detailed financial and operational due diligence on trading and shipping counterparties across global commodities markets.
  • Analyse ownership structures, operations, and financial statements to assess creditworthiness and risk exposure.
  • Produce clear, structured written reports that support commercial and credit decision‑making.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and industry sources to gather market insights.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on research, portfolio monitoring, and data‑driven risk initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in credit risk, counterparty risk, or financial analysis within commodities industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret company financials and evaluate risk.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, able to deliver concise and accurate analytical reports.
  • Detail‑oriented, independent, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Proactive and collaborative team player with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities.
