Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS) to shape the cell film CMP technology roadmap and drive breakthroughs across engineering boundaries.

You will mentor senior leaders, guide critical roadmap decisions, and collaborate with external partners to push CMP innovations. Leading global initiatives, you will manage hardware strategies, enable high-impact deliverables, and communicate technology directions to senior leadership.

Qualifications

PhD or Master’s with extensive CMP R&D experience.
Publications and patents showing technical contributions.

Responsibilities

Serve as CMP technical authority for NAND technology development.
Architect and drive next-generation CMP process innovation.
Lead resolution of yield/defectivity/integration challenges in CMP.
Define and execute CMP hardware and supplier roadmaps.
Provide forward-looking technical leadership and risk mitigation.
Drive cross-functional execution across TD, PI, Manufacturing, and Equipment teams.
Mentor senior engineers and strengthen CMP capability.
Represent Micron CMP in external forums and communicate roadmaps to leadership.
