Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a high-impact DMTS to shape the technical vision for NAND structural and electrical film processes, guiding enterprise-level roadmaps and influencing leadership decisions.

The role requires extensive Thin Films R&D/PD experience in NAND, mastery of ALD/CVD processes, and strong external engagement with industry and research partners. You will mentor leaders and drive strategic collaborations to advance Micron’s memory technologies.

Qualifications

PhD ≥15 yrs or Master’s ≥17 yrs in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics or related field with extensive Thin Films R&D/PD in NAND.
Mastery of ALD/CVD (plasma and thermal) processes; pioneering deposition methods and integration strategies for NAND scaling.
Advanced electrical evaluation, metrology strategy and reliability modeling across tech generations.
Strong external engagement and executive communication presence.

Responsibilities

Shape technical vision for structural and electrical film processes with enterprise-level impact and roadmaps.
Lead cross-group programs to deliver breakthroughs and guide RCA/resolution.
Represent Micron in consortia, conferences, and external collaborations.
Develop strategies for cost savings, process efficiency, and yield enhancement; assess risks and priorities.
Mentor senior technical leaders and influence roadmap decisions.
