Job summary

Micron Singapore seeks a Staff/Principal Engineer to lead CMP process development for next-generation 3D NAND devices. You will optimize CMP procedures, push margin improvements, and collaborate globally with process, integration, and equipment teams to meet program and yield goals.

You will mentor teammates, drive advanced monitoring methodologies, and contribute to AI-enabled enhancements in CMP workflows, while aligning with Micron’s IP protection and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Masters/PhD or Bachelors with extensive CMP experience in 300mm wafer fabrication.
• Hands-on CMP equipment operation including AMAT (LKP) and EBARA-300X.
• Experience with dielectrics/metals CMP in 3D NAND or memory tech.
• Understanding of integration and structural impacts related to film deposition and upstream/downstream processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CMP procedures to improve product quality and reliability for next-gen Micron memory parts.
• Focus on margins to meet mature yield goals for 3D NAND CMP.
• Collaborate with vendors to meet integration requirements for current/next-gen NAND nodes.
• Design and implement advanced process monitoring and control methodologies.
• Provide guidance to management on significant technical issues and drive innovation projects.
