Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Senior Technical Account Manager for ES – APJC-ASEAN in Singapore. You will provide consultative architectural and operational guidance to help customers maximize value from AWS, expanding their cloud adoption while managing incidents and cost Smartly.

You will partner with customers and internal teams to deliver strategy, workshops, and proactive value realization across a diverse set of enterprise clients in APJC-ASEAN.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Experience communicating effectively with senior leadership.
• Experience engaging and presenting to senior executives (CXO level).

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative guidance and advocate for customers.
• Maintain operational health of AWS environments while reducing cost and complexity.
• Develop trusting relationships with customers and understand their business needs and technical challenges.
• Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs and risk management.
• Consult with partners from developers through to C-suite executives.
• Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants and Sales Account Managers.
• Proactively identify opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS.
• Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, and prelaunch planning.
• Be part of the wider Enterprise Support team delivering post-sales consultative expertise.
• Solve a variety of problems across different customers as they migrate workloads to the cloud.
• Uplift customer capabilities by running workshops and brown bag sessions.
