Job summary

Amazon Web Services Singapore Private Limited is seeking a Technical Account Manager to deliver consultative architectural and operational guidance, helping customers maximize value from AWS.

You’ll engage with customers across Singapore, building trusted relationships, managing incidents, and guiding architecture, support strategy, and launch planning while pursuing ongoing professional development and AWS certifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting across compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications in a distributed systems environment.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead.

Responsibilities

• Build solutions and provide technical guidance to customers.
• Ensure AWS environments remain healthy while reducing cost and complexity.
• Develop relationships with customers and understand their business needs.
• Drive technical discussions on incidents, trade-offs and risk management.
• Consult with partners from developers to C-suite executives.
• Collaborate with AWS teams including Solutions Architects and Sales Account Managers.
• Proactively identify opportunities to increase customer value.
• Provide reviews of service disruptions and prelaunch planning.
• Offer post-sales, consultative expertise as part of Enterprise Support.
• Help customers migrate workloads to the cloud and uplift capabilities via workshops.
