This is a hands-on client leadership role for someone who combines strong local market expertise with data-led advice, commercial judgement and the confidence to support prospect acquisition, pitches and regional assignments.
Key responsibilities

- Act as the senior day-to-day relationship lead for an assigned portfolio, building trusted relationships with HR, Finance and senior stakeholders.
- Own the client service plan, renewal calendar, governance rhythm, deliverables, and escalation management for each account.
- Lead renewal strategy discussions, translating client objectives, workforce needs, claims experience and budget considerations into a clear market approach.
- Coordinate placement, insurer engagement, negotiation, implementation and ongoing servicing, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen programme design, employee experience, administration and cost efficiency while supporting strong retention and sustainable portfolio growth.
- Oversee complex service or claims escalations, working with internal teams and insurers to achieve clear, well-documented outcomes.
Analytics and consulting
- Analyse claims, utilisation, loss ratios, premium movement, employee demographics and benefit design to identify trends, risks and practical opportunities.
- Prepare and present clear renewal reports, programme reviews, benchmarking and executive-ready recommendations that convert data into decisions.
- Advise on plan design, benefit adequacy, market competitiveness, cost-containment options, insurer strategy and implementation considerations.
Business development and market engagement
- Partner with the Head of Employee Benefits on prospect acquisition, discovery meetings, tenders, proposals and pitches.
- Identify cross-sell and referral opportunities within existing relationships and across the wider business and partner network.
Risk, compliance and operational discipline
- Conduct business in accordance with applicable legal, regulatory and company requirements, acting in the best interests of clients and the company.
- Maintain orderly and up-to-date client files and support the safeguarding of client monies in line with company procedures.
- Escalate potential errors and omissions, breaches, complaints, disputes, conflicts or matters that may expose the company to legal or regulatory action promptly.
What you bring
- At least 7 years of relevant Employee Benefits broking, consulting or client management experience, with substantial exposure to the Singapore local market.
- Relevant insurance or professional qualifications recognised in Singapore.
- Demonstrated ownership of client relationships, renewals, placement and insurer negotiations.
- Strong analytical capability, including confidence working with claims, utilisation, premiums, loss ratios, employee census data and benchmarking.
- Commercial confidence in prospect meetings, proposals and pitches, with the ability to contribute to new-business conversion and portfolio growth.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to produce clear, decision-ready analysis and presentations.
Highly desirable
- Added capabilities in flexible benefits programs and regional coordination.
- Experience supporting benefit harmonisation, programme benchmarking, claims analytics, benefit communication or change implementation.
