Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager in Singapore to drive sales strategy, develop business opportunities, and strengthen customer relationships in the transformer market.

You will maintain Salesforce plans, deliver technical and commercial proposals, and coordinate with bid and marketing teams to ensure accurate pricing, compliance and efficient end-to-end processes. This role reports to the Market Manager, Transformer Business Unit.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with sales and marketing experience.
• Strong sales planning and execution skills.
• Experience in energy, electrical sectors preferred.
• Fluency in English and Chinese is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Salesforce plans and monitor progress to meet targets.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform pricing.
• Develop and deliver technical and commercial proposals.
• Lead contract and purchase order negotiations and risk reviews.
• Ensure compliance and manage handover to project management.
