Job summary

Woh Hup (Private) Limited seeks a Senior Architectural Coordinator to lead the architectural drafting team on major Singapore projects. You will coordinate with Structural and M&E teams to deliver buildable shop drawings on schedule and ensure accuracy against the project master program.

You will translate design intent into constructible drawings, identify discrepancies and coordination gaps, and maintain clear communication with consultants and subcontractors while upholding safety on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in Architecture or relevant field.
• At least 5 years’ experience in the industry, preferably full-time on a project.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Structural and M&E Coordinators to ensure timely shop drawings.
• Ensure drawings produced by the drafting team and sub-contractors align with the Project Master Program.
• Identify shop drawing discrepancies, buildability, and cross-disciplinary impacts.
• Relate design intent from architect/design consultant to buildable construction shop drawings.
• Ensure design intent on critical dimensions is highlighted; details are workable and coordinated with other trades.
• Liaise with architect, design consultant, and sub-contractors on design intent and technical issues.
• Coordinate between architectural team and consultant drawings to ensure consistent construction drawings.
• Adherence to safety practices in the workplace.

The Senior Architectural Coordinator act as the Lead Coordinator of the design team and is responsible for leading a team of architectural draftsperson.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and are not limited to, as follows:

• Liaise closely with the Structural and M&E Coordinators to ensure buildable shop drawings are issued timely to the project site team.
• Ensure drawings produced by the drafting team and sub-contractors are accurate and timely in alignment with the Project Master Program.
• Identify shop drawings discrepancies, buildability, and impact on different disciplines.
• Relate design intent from architect/design consultant to buildable construction shop drawing.
• Ensure design intent on critical dimensions are highlighted; details are workable and coordinated with other trades.
• Liaise with architect, design consultant, and sub-contractors on design intent and technical issues.
• Coordinate between architectural team and consultant drawings to ensure consistency in construction drawings.
• Adherence to safety practices in the workplace

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Education: Minimum Degree in Architecture or relevant fields
• Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant industry, preferably to have been full time assigned on a project.

Technical Competencies

• Able to communicate with consultants in clear hand sketches drawing
