Qualifications

• 5-8 years experience in an Application Support role.
• Experience installing, configuring or supporting business applications.
• Experience with some programming languages and willingness/ability to learn.
• Advanced execution capabilities and ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization.
• Effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain technical issues in simple terms that non-IT staff can understand.
• Demonstrated analytical skills.
• Issue tracking and reporting using tools.
• Knowledge/ experience of problem Management Tools.
• Good all-round technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and business support for Citi applications to drive stability, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintains application systems that are in daily operations.
• Manages, maintains and supports applications and their environments against SLAs.
• Start of day checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handover.
• Perform same day risk reconciliations.
• Develop and maintain technical support documentation.
• Identify ways to maximize the potential of the applications used.
• Assess risk and impact of production issues and escalate promptly.
• Ensure storage and archiving procedures are in place and functioning.
• Formulate scope for complex enhancements and problem resolution.
• Review and develop contingency planning for availability.
• Partner with development and production support to prioritize bug fixes.
• Participate in application releases from development to production.
• Engage in post-implementation analysis for system design.
• Raise issues to technology and business teams with SLAs in mind.
• Act as advisor or coach to junior analysts.
• Provide evaluative judgment in complex situations.
• Impact business by ensuring quality of work; communicate with stakeholders.
• Exhibit clear communication and diplomacy in complex information exchanges.
• Own Support Project items covering Stability, Efficiency, and Effectiveness initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
