Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Customer Engineer in Singapore to lead the technical relationship from discovery through adoption and expansion. You will operate as a quota-carrying technologist, using AI-augmented workflows to focus on architecture, platform adoption, and measurable business outcomes across the customer journey.

You will partner with Account Executives on technical discovery, deliver demonstrations and PoCs, and act as a trusted advisor across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineer).
• Broad technical expertise spanning web security, networking (routing, DNS, DDoS), cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
• Commercial mindset with experience in quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environments; understands SaaS metrics and business value translation.
• Strong communication; able to bridge deep technical details with C-suite strategy.
• English and Cantonese language skills for supporting Hong Kong customers.
• Hands-on experience with Cloudflare Developer Stack and AI ecosystem (Workers AI and AI Gateway).
• Experience with prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar for integration scripts and edge functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with Account Executives and build bespoke architectures and PoCs across Cloudflare portfolios.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, from onboarding to renewal and expansion.
• Own long-term technical relationships, aligning customer goals with product roadmap.
• Carry a variable quota tied to new business and account growth; drive platform adoption and cross-sell opportunities.
• Lead QBRs to translate platform capabilities into business ROI for executives.
