Job summary

Cloudflare Singapore is seeking a Customer Engineer (CE) to lead technical engagements as a quota-carrying advisor from solution design and onboarding to long-term adoption. You will collaborate with regional Sales and Engineering to architect bespoke solutions, deliver compelling demos, and drive measurable outcomes.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled automation, proactive problem solving, and translating technical results into business value for executives.

Qualifications

• 3 years or more of experience in a customer-facing technical Pre-Sales role such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineer
• AI Tooling & Automation: Demonstrated experience building tools with AI and automation to solve technical and customer-facing challenges
• Core Technical Knowledge: Foundational understanding of Web Technologies, Internet Security, Computer Networking, and strong technical troubleshooting skills
• Commercial Mindset: Willingness to work in a revenue-aligned environment
• Communication: Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills bridging deep technical details and C-suite strategy

Responsibilities

• Technical Validation: Build bespoke architectures and deliver product demos and PoCs across Cloudflare’s portfolio.
• Trusted Advisory: Maintain deep relationships with key stakeholders through onboarding, maturity, renewal, and expansion.
• AI Orchestration & Workflow Automation: Use AI agents and platforms to automate routine tasks and focus on strategic customer advisory.
• Commercial Accountability & Expansion: Drive revenue-adjacent outcomes and identify cross-sell opportunities based on product usage data.
• Problem-Solving: Proactively diagnose complex issues and develop sustainable, preventative solutions.
• Strong Communication: Effectively communicate with both technical teams and executive leadership.
