Job summary

A shipping and engineering company in Singapore is seeking a Financial Manager to oversee overall financial accounting, including cost accounting and taxation, report directly to management, and prepare financial reports. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Finance or a related field, have at least 3 years of experience, and be capable of writing reports in Chinese. Experience with budget planning and financial analysis is necessary to ensure compliance with group policies.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for overall financial accounting, cost accounting and taxation, report to top management and Managing Director directly.
• Responsible for financial planning and budget planning.
• Maintains full set account, book-keeping records and cash flow in order.
• Prepares financial reports, trading statement, tax returns, reports on profit forecasts and budget.
• To prepare and submit head office requested financial report and statement.
• Ensure compliance with the Group policies and accounting standards.
• To handle annual financial and accounting audit.
• Analysis financial data, business and operation records and report to management on business operation.
• Close monitor company general account status movement and outstanding receivable invoices statement, prepare and submit periodical cash flow forecast report, foreign currency exchange rate alert to the management.
• The Employee may be assigned other duties which are deemed necessary by the Management from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent, ACCA preferred.
• At least 3 years(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Good organization and communication skills.
• Able to write Chinese report for reporting to our Headquarters.
