Job summary

IAS Global Logistics Pte Ltd is seeking a customer-focused professional to support international air and seafreight operations. You will handle customer enquiries, assist sales in pricing and quotations, and coordinate rates with overseas partners. Build relationships, generate leads, and contribute to sales reporting.

Fluency in Mandarin and English, with strong communication and multitasking abilities, is essential to succeed in a dynamic logistics team based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Min 3 to 5 years' experience in international air & seafreight forwarding/logistics.
• Disciplined, results-driven and able to work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent communication in Mandarin and English; Mandarin fluency preferred.
• Meticulous, accurate, multitasker and team player.

Responsibilities

• Handle customers’ enquiries and support the sales and management teams in marketing and business development activities.

• Obtain rates from overseas partners/vendors and prepare costing sheets and quotations.
• Generate business leads internally and secure new business and grow customer base, develop, and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.

• Compile Sales Reports for the Management
• Any other related duties assigned from time to time to meet the business needs.

Requirements:

• Min. 3 to 5 years' of relevant operational experience in International Air & Seafreight forwarding/logistic.
• Discipline, Result oriented, Success driven and able to work under pressure
• Good interpersonal communication skill with excellent customer service competency
• Strong communicator, Independent, Focus
• Good customer service skills with excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Meticulous and accurate with a positive attitude and able to multi-task and team player
• Candidates able to commence work immediately would be an advantage
