Job summary

The local freight forwarder at Changi Airfreight Centre is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to grow co-loading partnerships and drive revenue growth. You will lead sales efforts, manage major accounts, and negotiate competitive rates with airline partners.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in air cargo sales, strong industry networks, and a strategic, results-driven mindset with leadership skills to guide the sales team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of proven sales experience in air cargo, freight consolidation, or co-loading.
• Strong network and existing relationships with freight forwarders, airlines, and logistics partners.
• Deep understanding of airfreight pricing structures, spot rates, trade lanes, airline capacity, and yield management.
• Proficiency in rate negotiation, revenue forecasting, and margin control (gross profit tracking).
• Strategic mindset with a strong track record in business development and account management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing presentation skills.
• Results-driven with strong analytical capabilities to monitor market trends and team performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow co-loading business with freight forwarders and industry partners.
• Manage and maintain key customer accounts and develop new business opportunities.
• Negotiate buying and selling rates to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
• Monitor market rates, airline capacity and competitor activities.
• Develop pricing and sales strategies to increase tonnage, revenue and gross profit.
• Conduct regular customer visits and sales calls.
• Monitor customer performance, revenue, tonnage and profitability.
• Work closely with airline partners and suppliers to secure competitive rates and capacity.
• Identify new destinations, products and routing opportunities.
• Manage credit exposure and follow up on commercial issues where required.
• Lead and support the sales/customer service team to achieve business targets.
• Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports and market updates for management
