Job summary

A recruitment firm in Singapore is looking for a sales professional with an engineering background. The role involves conducting the full sales cycle, providing after-sales support, and collaborating with management to meet sales goals. Overview

Salary: Up to 4.5k + Allowances + AWS + VB

Office location: Boon Lay

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve individual sales target by conducting the full sales cycle of lead generation, follow-up, service delivery and closure of transaction.
  • Detail work includes managing and interpreting customers’ requirements by talking to them and assessing equipment needs, preparing and delivering of sales proposals, technical presentations, show how the company’s products are better than the competitors and following up with suppliers and stake holders.
  • Provide continuous after sales support such as helping customers identify problems with installed equipment (if any), recommending improved material, machinery or parts for replacement and maintenance.
  • Plan and oversee daily activities in meeting the project progress and quality goals.
  • Execute and follow through the sales plan set by the manager with the aim to expand the company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence in Singapore. Work as a team to gather information to submit tender.
  • Continuously improve on own’s knowledge on supplier’s products with the aim to introduce technology that add value to the customers.
  • Review sales activities with the management on a weekly basis, including the status of prospective customers, plans to meet sales goals and status on deadlines. Working with the Sales Manager, produces report regularly to communicate with supplier on sales activities and status of project.
  • Ability to travel within Singapore as required up to 70% of the time. Occasional travel beyond Singapore.
  • Class 3 driving license is a must-have.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in any engineering fields
  • Prior experience in a similar industry with similar sales cycle with proven track record of success.
  • Experience in developing and executing sales strategies.
  • Ability to build relations with clients quickly.
  • A highly motivated go-getter with hunter instincts to develop each potential prospect into business opportunity.
  • Possess the creativity and resourcefulness to introduce technology that impacts customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Abe to communicate and make presentations effectively, be it in writing or verbally.
  • Prior experience with tender systems such as Gebiz.
  • Good time management.
