Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven professional to lead sales growth while providing critical support to supply planning, logistics, and operations. This role ensures smooth product flow and exceptional customer service across the oleochemicals value chain.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders in the oleochemicals sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow market share and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Oversee sales forecasting, develop pricing strategies, and manage contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and deliver customized product solutions.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with customers regarding orders, deliveries, and inquiries.
Supply Planning & Coordination
- Partner with the Supply Chain team to ensure accurate planning and availability of products.
- Monitor inventory, production schedules, and delivery timelines to enable seamless order fulfillment.
- Coordinate with manufacturing facilities to align product flow, especially during high-demand periods or supply chain disruptions.
- Provide reliable sales forecasts to support inventory and supply planning decisions.
Logistics & Operational Support
- Work closely with logistics teams to manage shipment scheduling, resolve delivery issues, and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Ensure adherence to international trade compliance and manage import/export documentation.
- Identify and address operational bottlenecks to improve supply chain efficiency.
- Track product movement and delivery metrics, offering solutions to logistical challenges as they arise.
Reporting & Insights
- Generate regular sales and market reports, demand forecasts, and performance analyses.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as sales growth, inventory turnover, and order fulfillment rates.
- Share market trends, customer feedback, and competitive insights with internal stakeholders to enhance product positioning and strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in oleochemicals, chemical sales, or supply chain operations.
- Strong understanding of supply planning, inventory control, and logistics.
- Proven ability to manage customer accounts and provide timely, effective solutions.
- Knowledge of international trade compliance and shipping documentation is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools for reporting and forecasting.
