Job Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential customers to generate new business opportunities, focusing on the Singapore market.
• Expand and maintain a strong client network, fostering positive and lasting relationships.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for existing customers, promoting client retention.
• Monitor market trends for Air and Ocean freight rates and collaborate closely with the Procurement and Pricing teams to manage RFQs and tenders effectively.
• Assist in preparing sales presentations, business proposals, and promptly follow up on customer inquiries to support daily sales operations.
• Compile and present sales performance reports to the management team during regular internal meetings.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a related role within a global logistics company.
• Proven ability to perform field sales as an individual contributor, identifying and engaging potential customers.
• Relevant experience in Air Express, Contract Logistics, or Ocean Freight.
• Comfortable with cold calling and customer outreach activities.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets, especially with mid to large-scale business wins.
• Proactive and passionate about soliciting new business opportunities.
• Strong network connections within any vertical markets will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with freight forwarding operations and billing processes is an advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
