Job summary

Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve/exceed revenue and market share targets.
  • Identify and prioritize key customer segments: bakeries, F&B chains, distributors, hotels, and gelato shops.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, business plans, and performance reports to senior management.
Business Development
  • Prospect, engage, and convert new customers through effective lead generation and relationship nurturing.
  • Expand business with existing accounts by upselling and cross-selling product lines.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support promotions, product launches, and campaigns tailored to local needs.
Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with customers, understanding their needs and challenges.
  • Provide expert product knowledge and consultation on bakery, gelato, and food service solutions.
  • Manage customer feedback, resolve issues promptly, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Customized Solution
  • Partner with clients' R&D teams to create new menus and develop bespoke ingredient formulations for their seasonal launches (e.g., CNY, Mooncake festivals or Christmas pastry lines).
  • Work with technical chefs to conduct live demonstrations, showing the applications of the ingredients.
Market Intelligence
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, pricing, and regulatory developments in the food market.
  • Use insights to refine strategies, inform product development, and capitalize on new opportunities.
Sales Operations
  • Stocks forecasting.
  • Prepare reports, quotations, negotiate contracts, and manage order fulfilment processes.
  • Ensure accurate sales documentation and Salesforce updates.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar field.
  • Handle sales (Farmer & Hunter) and lead and manage Business Development team.
  • Strong Horeca sales background with proven success in new business development and account management.
