Job description

As a Music Rights Sales Executive, you will help perform all copyright functions and asset management for Music Rights (Singapore) Public Limited (MRSS) Licensing department. You will report directly to both the Senior Licensing Manager and Licensing Manager. You will undertake the day-to-day administration of your assigned clients and areas/categories, manage their license fees and best practice for Music Copyrights.

At MRSS, we are a Collective Music Makers and Music Lovers Organisation. We are guided by core principles: “Protect the Music We Love” and “Empowering our People”.

Main Duties
  1. Manage End-users setup, provide education and awareness of Music Copyrights
  2. Maintain an updated list of end users recorded and music content
  3. Assist all licensing administration of end users
  4. Improve and refine copyright processes and increase efficiency
  5. Maintain contracts, accounts and deal tracker, and collate playlists
  6. Canvass and send out email blasts to all potential licensees
  7. Attend all meetings with potential licensees
  8. Respond and process general enquiries, applications and complaints
