PAN PACIFIC ORCHARD, SINGAPORE is seeking a Sales Executive – Catering Sales & Event Services to source, secure and contract local corporate catering and meetings, ensuring timely turnover for quality service delivery. Achieve catering revenue goals by actively securing each event and upselling packages to maximise revenue.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or above in Sales & Marketing and has at least three years of sales experience in wedding, social, lifestyle, or local catering & meetings

• At least three years of sales experience in wedding, social, lifestyle or local catering & meetings segment and events services.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; hunter mentality with strong closing ability.

Responsibilities

• Convert leads into bookings and ensure timely handover to the Operations team.
• Upsell packages and creative F&B options to maximise revenue.

The Sales Executive – Catering Sales & Event Services is responsible to source, secure and contract local corporate catering and meetings and ensuring that business is turned over properly and in a timely manner for quality service delivery. He/She is expected to achieve catering revenue goals by actively securing, up-selling each event for revenue maximization.

Our Expectations:

• Work closely with the sales team to generate local catering and meeting leads with close follow-up and monitoring of leads leading to conversion.
• Identify, qualify and solicit new or repeated local catering and meeting business to achieve personal and hotel revenue goals.
• Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge in order to be able to explain and sell services and facilities to clients.
• Actively supports and execute group or hotel wide sales initiatives / promotions. Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close deals.
• Maximize revenue by up-selling packages and creative food and beverage.
• Follow through the event management flow process from the initial stage until the end of the event or group departure.
• Serve customers’ by understanding their needs and recommending appropriate features and services that best meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
• Verify events’ arrangement with the clients and ensure that information is thoroughly cascaded and shared with the Operations team.

We are looking for a self-motivated 'hunter' with excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as good understanding of the wedding and social segments in the market. You should have an eye for detail yet creative and nimble with ability to adapt to ever changing requirements and needs of customers. If you possess a Diploma or above in Sales & Marketing and have at least three years of sales experience in wedding, social, lifestyle or local catering & meetings segment and events services,
