Job summary

BEN LINE AGENCIES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a Sales Executive to identify and meet customers, generating new revenue streams for the company. The role aims to build a credible sales pipeline and sustainable revenues while maintaining strong relationships with clients in the shipping sector.

The successful candidate will have a Diploma or equivalent, at least two years of relevant sales experience (preferably in shipping), and be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in any field.
• Minimum two (2) years of relevant Sales experience, preferably in shipping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
• A proactive and willing-to-learn mindset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

About the role

The Sales Executive is responsible for identifying and meeting customers to generate new revenue streams for the Company. The aim is to generate a credible sales pipeline of business leading to sustainable revenues.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire businesses from new and existing customers, aligned with targets
• Follow up on customer's communications in a timely and professional manner
• Analyse budgets and determine ways to streamline the sales process
• Maintain records of customer's details / sales visit and report to Sales Manager
• Build good business relationship with prospective customers through regular visits and contacts to develop new revenue streams
• Meet and exceed target set in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the department
• Negotiate with clients adhering to price guidelines provided
• Present realistic forecasts to the Management team
• Conduct market research relating to competition, pricing, and customers
• Communicate with colleagues at all levels to obtain relevant information

About you

• Minimum of a Diploma or equivalent in any field
• Minimum two (2) years of relevant Sales experience, preferably in the shipping industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
