About the Role

We are a growing small-to-medium enterprise looking for a motivated Sales Assistant / Sales Executive to support and drive our sales efforts. This role suits someone who has already had some hands-on exposure to sales and is looking to grow further - building client relationships, supporting the sales pipeline, and contributing directly to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Identify and reach out to potential customers/leads through calls, emails, and other channels
• Follow up on inbound enquiries and convert them into sales opportunities
• Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and sales presentations
• Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets

Client & Account Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Handle client queries, order processing, and after-sales follow-up
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction

Sales Operations & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities (CRM or equivalent)
• Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management
• Assist with market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities

General Support

• Support sales-related administrative tasks (invoicing coordination, contracts, documentation)
• Assist with participation in trade shows, exhibitions, or client events as needed

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• At least 1-2 years of relevant sales experience (not open to fresh graduates)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with outreach, cold calling, and proactive lead generation
• Target-driven with a positive, resilient attitude
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus
• Prior experience in an SME environment is a plus
