Job summary

GLOBAL MARINE & INDUSTRY PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive Sales & Marketing professional to devise and execute strategies for owners, managers and agents in the marine retail sector.

You will nurture relationships, schedule appointments, and drive new business opportunities to help meet management targets. The ideal candidate holds a diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or marketing, with at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience in related field (retail/marine preferred).
• Experience in sales & marketing of marine industry or equivalent preferred.
• Fluent English, able to liaise with various associates effectively.

Responsibilities

• Devise and execute sales strategies for owners, managers and agents, contributing to targets set by the Management.
• Schedule appointments and meetings thru cold calling.
• Handle and nurture relationships with all customers, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
• Actively seek opportunities to grow existing customer business.
• Expand clientele base through active acquisition of new clients.
• Responsible for prospecting and developing new customers.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related field, with preferably a minimum of 1 year experience in related field, preferably in Retail/Marine industries
• Preferably Executive specialized in Sales & Marketing of marine industry or equivalent
• Good spoken & written in English - to liaise with various associates effectively
• Candidates must be result oriented and self-driven. Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Confident and jovial personality with strong presentation, sales, and negotiation skills.
