Job summary

RMS Marine & Offshore Service Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a proactive sales professional to identify and develop new business within the marine and offshore sector.

You will conduct outdoor vessel visits, meet customers, and build strong relationships to promote company products and services. The role requires preparing quotations, proposals, tenders, and following up on inquiries, with a focus on achieving sales targets and profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Business, Sales, Maritime, Logistics, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Relevant experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management, or Customer Service preferred
• Working experience in Marine, Offshore, Ship Chandling, Logistics, Technical Supply, or related industries will be an added advantage
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Sales-driven and customer-focused mindset
• Ability and willingness to work under pressure and handle outdoor assignments
• Comfortable with customer visits, port visits, vessel boarding, and operational environments
• Good commercial awareness and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Marine & Offshore industry
• Conduct regular outdoor sales visits, vessel visits, and customer meetings
• Build strong working relationships with existing and potential customers
• Prepare quotations, proposals, tenders, and follow up on customer enquiries
• Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability objectives
• Promote company products, services, and value-added solutions to customers
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer requirements, and pricing movements
• Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse, and Finance departments to support customer requirements
• Ensure timely follow-up on quotations, deliveries, customer feedback, and service issues
• Support payment collection follow-up where required
• Maintain accurate sales records, customer information, visit reports, and sales pipeline updates
• Attend exhibitions, networking events, and business development activities where assigned
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
• Support management initiatives, process improvements, and departmental projects
• Carry out any other duties assigned by Management
