Job summary

TRANE DISTRIBUTION PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a proactive sales engineer to promote Trane Chiller & Equipment to building consultants and contractors.

You will develop long-term relationships with customers, especially key accounts, aim for maximum account penetration and retention, and identify opportunities. The role requires a degree in mechanical/electrical engineering and 1–2 years in engineering sales, HVAC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 1-2 years in Engineering sales; HVAC experience a plus.
• Customer driven with excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Candidates with relevant education qualifications but no prior work experience welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Promote and propose Trane Chiller & Equipment to building consultants and contractors.
• Develop long-term customer relationships.
• Build close relationships with key accounts.
• Maximize account penetration and customer retention.

• Update forecast timely into the system.
• Negotiate value, address resistance, and close the sale; differentiate & make Trane the preferred supplier.
• Ensure all works comply with quality and EHS standards.

• Update forecast timely into the system
• Negotiates value, addresses resistance, and close the sales. Differentiates & made Trane as preferred supplier
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time
• You also need to ensure all works carried out in accordance with the specified quality and EHS standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical engineering or its equivalent
• 1-2 years in Engineering sales, experience in HVAC industry will be a plus
