Job summary

TALENT TRADER GROUP PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a capable Technical Sales / Application Engineer to support engineering solutions for commercial and building projects.

You will translate client requirements into technical designs and provide pre‑sales support, product demonstrations, and on‑site guidance. You will collaborate with consultants, contractors, and developers to identify opportunities from early design stages and help grow projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering with design/technical sales context.
• Experience in building services or related industries is preferred.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and site visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and application support for engineering solutions used in commercial and building projects.
• Understand customer and project requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Identify and develop new project opportunities from the early design and planning stages.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, developers, and other industry stakeholders.
• Support customers during the project design, specification, and implementation stages.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for customers and business partners.
• Work closely with internal sales and technical teams to develop solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities.
• Conduct site visits and customer meetings where required.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and other relevant documentation to support project and sales activities.
• Ad hoc duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 3 - 5 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, system design, or a similar engineering role, preferably within building services, HVAC, plumbing, M&E, water systems, or related engineering industries.

• Good understanding of commercial building systems and engineering applications.

• Experience working with consultants, contractors, developers, or other technical stakeholders.

• Willing to travel for customer meetings and site visits when required.
