You will identify opportunities, build partner relationships, translate business needs into tailored solutions, lead presales, run demonstrations and POCs, develop costed proposals and BOMs, and coordinate responses to tenders,

• Lead presales engagements with solution design and architecture support

• Ensure seamless handover from presales to delivery teams

Job description

The Sales Engineer (5G Small Cell Solutions), reports to the Head Sales, Advanced Connectivity Line of Business and is responsible for driving business growth and market expansion through innovative solutioning. This role is pivotal in capturing new business opportunities and enabling double-digit growth of the LOB in a competitive landscape.

• Identify and assess business opportunities, evaluate market potential, and shape go-to-market initiatives across ASEAN
• Build and strengthen relationships with technology and business partners to unlock new opportunities and develop joint business plans and value propositions
• Engage customers to understand their business and technical requirements, translating their needs into tailored, fit-for-purpose solutions
• Lead the technical aspects of presales engagements, providing solution design, technical guidance, and end-to-end architecture support
• Plan and conduct customer demonstrations, trials, and proof-of-concept activities to showcase capabilities and validate proposed solutions
• Evaluate project viability through financial feasibility assessments, market research, and business planning
• Develop compelling solution proposals, cost estimates, bills of materials, and technical compliance matrices
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prepare competitive and compliant responses to tenders, requests for information, and requests for quotation
• Ensure a seamless handover from presales to project delivery and implementation teams by providing the necessary technical context and support
