Job summary

ST Engineering is recruiting a Sales Engineer (5G Small Cell Solutions) to drive growth in ASEAN markets. You will lead presales activities, translate customer needs into tailored, compliant solutions, and collaborate across internal teams to deliver end‑to‑end architectures.

You will engage customers, demonstrate capabilities, and support financial feasibility studies while building strong partner relationships for double‑digit growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience as a Sales Engineer in the telecom/ICT sector.
• Experience with 4G/5G RAN, DAS, and indoor coverage solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical or operational background; ASEAN markets experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; basic financial analysis knowledge.
• Independent, proactive, team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Agility and ability to propose practical solutions to complex challenges.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess business opportunities, evaluate market potential, and shape go-to-market initiatives across ASEAN.
• Build relationships with technology and business partners to unlock opportunities and develop joint plans.
• Engage customers to understand requirements and translate into tailored solutions.
• Lead presales: solution design, technical guidance, and end-to-end architecture support.
• Plan demonstrations, trials, and PoCs to validate proposed solutions.
• Assess project viability via financial feasibility, market research, and business planning.
• Develop solution proposals, cost estimates, BOMs, and compliance matrices.
• Collaborate on responses to tenders, RFIs, and RFQs.
• Ensure seamless handover from presales to delivery teams with context.
