Job summary

Sime Darby Auto Selection Limited in Singapore is seeking a motivated Sales Consultant to guide customers through the car buying journey, from showroom experience to post-sales support. You will identify opportunities, present vehicles, conduct test drives, and close sales, while delivering excellent after-sales service and building lasting relationships.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of retail car sales experience, a Class 3 Driving License, and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE O Level or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail car sales.
• Class 3 Driving License is required.
• Prior experience in automotive industry is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and passionate about cars.
• Proficient in sales techniques and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through the entire buying journey—from showroom experience to post-sale support.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities through walk-ins and leads.
• Introduce customers to our dealership and offerings.
• Conduct engaging vehicle presentations and test drives.
• Understand customer needs through Know Your Customer (KYC) conversations.
• Recommend suitable vehicles and assist in selection and confirmation.
• Negotiate and close sales professionally.
• Coordinate smooth delivery of purchased vehicles.
• Provide excellent after-sales service and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Strive to exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
