Position Overview

As a sales associate, you will be the face of our company, representing our brand and contributing to our reputation for valuing customers and their opinions. You will assist customers by helping them recognize their needs for our products and services, learning about our offerings, and articulating our purpose professionally and insightfully. A positive, outgoing attitude and a passion for serving others are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Engage proactively with customers, ask questions, listen to their needs, and inform them about merchandise, promotions, upcoming events, mobile offers, STAR card, etc.
  • Provide excellent customer service: Build respectful relationships, take accountability for actions and outcomes.
  • Organization: Maintain store appearance.
  • Sales: Cross-sell and upsell products, suggest trends and current promotions based on customer needs, and leverage company tools for product knowledge.
  • Point-of-Sales Operations: Process transactions accurately, handle cash, discounts, gift cards, and complete paperwork and reports.
  • Inventory Management: Manage merchandise, participate in inventory processes, ensure proper check-in and ticketing.
  • Dependability: Follow work schedules and complete assignments reliably.
Qualifications
  • Basic product knowledge; retail experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work as part of a team, and take initiative.
Physical Demands & Work Environment

This role involves constant movement, talking, hearing, reaching, and standing for extended periods. May include stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Work is primarily indoors but may be outdoors depending on location.

Other Skills & Availability

Enthusiastic, friendly, energetic, with a desire to provide outstanding service. Must be available to work various hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum Requirements

No experience required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
