You will negotiate fixtures, market tonnages to clients, and maintain comprehensive vessel data while monitoring market directions to maximise profits. As part of the role, you will expand contacts with owners and charterers, prepare charter parties and related documentation, and provide timely market updates and research to clients.

Responsibilities

• Negotiating and fixing of ships.


• Marketing tonnages to clients


• Maintaining a database of vessel positions, tonnage, rates, and cargos.


• Monitoring the direction of the markets and advise clients accordingly to maximise profits.


• Expanding and developing contacts with principals from both Owners and Charterers.


• Preparing charter parties and other necessary fixture documentation, where required.


• Develop new customer base whilst building strong relationship with existing customers.


• Provide market updates and research for clients.
