Qualifications

• Experience in shipbroking or related maritime trading roles.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse markets and advise clients.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and fix ships.
• Market tonnages to clients.
• Maintain a database of vessel positions, tonnage, rates, and cargos.
• Monitor market directions and advise clients to maximise profits.
• Expand and develop contacts with principals from Owners and Charterers.
• Prepare charter parties and fixture documentation.
• Develop new customer base while maintaining relationships.
• Provide market updates and research for clients.
