Job summary

People Connects Pte Ltd is seeking an IT Support Engineer (L2) to roam across customer sites in Singapore, diagnosing and resolving incidents across servers, networks and Microsoft 365.

You'll own escalations from diagnosis to resolution, collaborate with vendors, and share guidance with junior staff while maintaining service reliability. Applicants should have hands-on IT support experience, Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP, and a proactive, clear communicator.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent.
• Hands-on IT support experience across servers and networks.
• Ability to explain problems clearly and verify solutions.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with backup/recovery, security procedures and changes; basic scripting.
• Experience with VMware/Hyper-V or cloud environments is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA, ITIL) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP and file-access issues.
• Resolve network connectivity, firewall and VPN problems, carrying out approved changes safely.
• Support Microsoft 365 administration and investigate service or user-access issues.
• Perform server maintenance, patching and backup/restore tasks, checking that changes and recovery work as intended.
• Support virtualisation and cloud-related tasks within the assigned customer environment.
• Own escalated tickets, keep users informed and coordinate with vendors where specialist support is needed.
• Record fixes and root-cause findings, and share useful guidance with the L1 team.
