Job summary

FairPrice Group is seeking a Store Operations Manager to oversee front and back-end store functions in Singapore. You will support the Group Manager with project management and ensure smooth daily operations across departments.

The role requires 3+ years in service/retail, a degree, and strong skills in leadership, planning, and customer service. You will drive sales, manage stock, and contribute to store openings or renovations with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline with minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in service/retail.
• Strong passion for the service/retail industry.
• Good in project management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritise workload and delegate accordingly.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Team player with ability to collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, maximise profitability and set/ meet sales targets
• Analyse and interpret trends to facilitate planning
• Lead and motivate team to achieve organization goals
• Manage customers complaints, compliments and feedback
• Manage stock inventory and stock control
• Plan and manage promotional spaces and activities
• Recruit, train, supervise and appraise staff
• Plan and perform biannual stocktake for the store
• Ensure standards for quality, customer service, health and safety are met as well as compliance with government legislation
• Continuously review and enhance existing store operations and processes to improve business
• Involve in projects such as planning for new store opening and renovation works for existing stores
